Try the Family Puck Buck Debit Card Program
You purchase the debit card and the kids can buy their own skating
admission, drinks and food. You decide the amount!
Any dollar amount over $5.00 can be placed on a card.
Parents can get cards placed on their account for all of their children.
The bonus is the card-holder can put more money in their card account
at any time!
• May be used at the Ticket Booth or Snack Bar
• Purchases made using the debit card must be at least $1.00.
• You cannot receive cash back from the card.
• You can put money in the account at any time.
• You can add other family members to your account, each with
their own card, but pulling from the same account.
• A limit can be placed on the amount that each cardholder
can spend.
• Remember your card number.
• If you want to put money in the account but you’ve
forgotten your card- no problem! Just give us your card # and we
can perform the transaction. (We will need to verify that you are
the cardholder for the transaction to take place.)
• Parents can track what their kids are purchasing and how
much they are spending- Just ask in the Ticket booth, Pro-shop or
ask the Shift Supervisor.
• Cards should be kept in a secure place like any debit card
to ensure that no one else can get access your account.
• If you lose the card, we will remove that card from inventory
and provide you with a new card for your account.
• Only those who joined as a YCRC Member in 2001 or as part
of the 2003 and 2004 Summer Day Camp receive the Member Discount
with their card.

Rock n Sk8 Pictures:
Group lessons offer an excellent introduction to skating and provide
a foundation for fun that will last a lifetime. This is an ISI (Ice
Skating Institute) standardized Learn to Skate Program.
Appropriate for ages 3 and up and all levels of ability.
Saturdays from 11:15am-12:45pm or Wednesdays from 5:15pm-6:45pm
• ½ Hour Lesson and ½ Hour Practice for Each
Participant
• Skate rental is available at no extra charge.
• Certificates are awarded upon completion of each level.
• Badges are available for those who become members of ISI
(Ice Skating Institute)
• Optional Annual I.S.I Membership for $10.00
Lessons are taught by The York City Ice Arena Skating Director
Elsa Swenning and skating instructors from The White Rose Figure
Skating Club.
I.S.I. Skating Levels:
Tots - Ages 3-5, Students learn to feel comfortable
on the ice, to stand and fall properly
Pre-Alpha(Beginner) - For skaters who walk on skates.
Teaches gliding and balancing on each foot.
Alpha (Advanced Beginner) - Forward stroking, forward
crossovers, and snowplow stop.
Beta (Intermediate) - Backward stroking, backward
crossovers, and T stop.
Gamma (Advanced Intermediate) - Outside forward
3 turns, mohawk, and hockey stop.
Delta (Advanced) - Inside forward 3 turns, forward
edges, lunge, and bunny hops.
Freestyle I - Basic spins, jumps, and footwork.

The Spring Show on Ice is open to all Session 4 Learn to Skate participants
for a small fee. It is not mandatory. Show numbers include only
what has been taught in the Group Lesson Class. More info will be
distributed during Session 4.

Ideal for Adults 18 and Over who prefer to take a Group Lesson with

The York City Ice Arena is a great place to have a group outing! Groups
of friends, families, corporations, schools, scouts, churches and
other organizations will have a fun time during a skating party at
the Coolest Place in Town!
Private Ice Rental
Rent the ice and have a private skating party for your group.

Pack the Place Program
Skate with us for your next fundraiser!
Any non-profit organization can "sponsor" a public session
to raise money for their group or program. (Proof of non-profit
required)
Any Saturday Session- 1:00-3:45pm
or Sunday Session 1:45-3:45pm
Tickets- $8 for admission and skates How it Works?
Your group selects a date to "sponsor" the session and
then it's your job to "Pack the Place". The sponsoring
group receives a percentage of the tickets they've sold.
The Ice Arena will create the tickets your group to sell. The event
should be schedule with enough time for the tickets to be created
and provided to your group to sell.
Your group is responsible for selling tickets. On the day of the
event, you return your unsold tickets and money collected to the
arena. The arena will provide your organization with your percentage
of the ticket sales as shown below.
Group Size: 0-50- You receive 20% or up to $70
Group Size: 51-100- You receive 25% or up to $175
Group Size: 101-150- You receive 30% or up to $315
Group Size: 151-200- You receive 35% or up to $490
Group Size: 201-250- You receive 40% or up to $700
Group Size: 251-300- You receive 45% or up to $945
The session is still open to the general public.
If you elect to do a raffle or door prizes, the arena will provide
a table and chairs as well as a donation of 2 gift certificates.

those who want to eat and not skate the cost is $6.50.
Our Birthday Party package includes:
- Invitations
- Skating admission and skate rental
- 2 slices of pizza per person
- Free unlimited pitchers of soda
- Use of private party rooms 45 minutes prior to the public session
through the conclusion of the session. One room holds 13-15 kids,
with more guests additional rooms will be needed.

March. Composed of 24 skating members, the York Area Special Olympics
Ice Skating group is the largest competing Special Olympics program
