Learn to Play Hockey
This program is designed for the beginning youth hockey player ages 3 & up.
Participants will learn and improve basic hockey skills and will be split into 2 levels based on experience:
Level 1: First Time Participants
Level 2: Previously Completed a Learn-to-Play Hockey Session
Instructed by York City Ice Arena Coaches.
2013-2014 Season
Classes are Saturdays 10-11am
Session #1: $75 for 7 weeks 9/7-10/19
Session #2: $85 for 8 weeks 10/26-12/21 (NO CLASS 11/30)
Session #3: $85 for 8 weeks 1/4-3/22 (NO CLASS: 1/18, 2/1, 2/15 & 3/1)
Session #4: $85 for 8 weeks 3/29-5/17
Drop in is permitted. Cost is $15.
Complete the Registration Form return it to the York City Ice Arena along with your full payment. Registrations will be accepted by mail or at any time in the rink main office. For more information, please contact Michael Cleveland.
Hockey Equipment Required:
- Hockey Skates
- Helmet with Face Mask
- Hockey Stick
- Hockey Gloves
- Mouthguard
- Full equipment is recommended
- Hockey Skate Rental Available: $3.00
- Ice hockey equipment is available for rent. Contact the rink for cost and availability.
