This is where the best players gather to enjoy
the game of
hockey, to play with the top talent in the region, in the most competitive
league of the off-season.
While the bulk of your time is spent on non-hockey
activities during the summer, it is important to maintain your skating
quickness and your hockey sense. The best way to do this is to play
regularly with the best players around. Our PRO-AM league gives
you that chance.
The Play
Three high speed 15 minute stop time periods, to a maximum 90 minute
game time. NCAA Rules. No open ice checking, checking limited to
along the boards. Zero tolerance for fighting. Fisticuffs will earn
you expulsion from the league with no refund. Major/Match penalties
will be subject to review. Maximum of 15 skaters per team. Minimum
player age is 15.
Ten games guaranteed . All games will be played at
8:30PM Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the YORK CITY
ICE ARENA. Exact schedule will vary based on team assignment, and
number of teams. No games on July 4th and 6th.
Exposure
Scouts know about the York PRO-AM. Staff from hockey programs at
the Professional, Collegiate, and Junior levels have scouted and
recruited players from our league.
Making the Grade

1st. If you currently play or played hockey professionally or in
a NCAA program, you are automatically eligible to participate. This
